IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We always finish off our stones with protective clear coats, and sometimes when this is exposed to things such as constant use of hand sanitiser, chemicals, dyes, self tanning solution, long periods of UV exposure, it can cause your top coat to dull or alter in colour. The resin we use are jewellers grade and contain UV stabilisers to avoid this.

All of our pieces are designed to be worn every day, however please treat them with care.

Swimming, Showering & Washing Dishes.
Please do not shower, swim or wash dishes with them on. Chlorine and salt water has the potential to damage your jewellery. Dish washing liquid is also not good for rings.

Please always take your jewellery off when you plan to enter the water.

Body Products.

We advise to remove your jewellery when applying moisturisers, shampoo/body wash, lotions and body oils

Fake tan will change the colour of your stone, so please  remove jewellery before applying.

Hand sanitiser has the potential to break down your protective layer of your stone & soften it. Wait for the product to dry before wearing your jewellery.

Chemicals & Cleaning Products.

As above, we advise removing your jewellery.

Bleach and other harsh chemicals has the potential to harm your jewellery. Some naturally derived products also have the potential to cause a reaction.

If you layer your rings/necklaces it can cause wear due to metal rubbing against metal.

Sun Exposure.

Please be aware that exposing your jewellery to prolonged direct sunlight, the UV exposure may cause slight changes & alter your piece.

This is to be expected as you can’t hid your jewellery from the sun all the time.

Each stone is crafted using professional quality UV stabilisers, however, the safest way to avoid changes is by lessening the exposure when possible.

Breast milk jewellery will not discolour as all milk is professionally preserved.

How do I clean & store my jewellery safely?

We recommend cleaning your jewellery with a polishing cloth, give your jewellery a rub down to remove any build up of moisture, sweat and dirt. We recommend you gently clean it every few months.

Tissue paper or paper towels will scratch your jewellery so we advise you don’t use there to clean you jewellery.

Place your jewellery on it's own in the original jewellery box, and store in a dark, cool and dry place.

Do not place your jewellery in an ultrasonic cleaner as this will damage your stone.

If you take your jewellery to a jeweller to be cleaned, let them know to avoid polishing the main stone, unless they are highly experienced with resin.

We encourage you to purchasing a professional grade polishing cloth from your local jeweller!

Tarnish.

Skin PH level can affect how your jewellery wears, his is not a fault of the jewellery. We use only quality precious metals, so please don't be alarmed if you experience tarnish on the metal.

Please use the above guide to remove tarnish.
